OK to kick off the new forum of "Obsession and Morality" I thought it would be appropriated to bring up "Beauty". Here goes my take, the extent of so called "perfection" is sickening. Now don't get me wrong, cosmetic procedures like surgery has it's place. For example I've got a friend who is in her 40's and she's had a couple of kids. She went and had some work done. She got a tummy and a titty lift, nothing major but she felt she needed it and it made her feel much better. She didn't get implants nor anything crazy, just "tightened" it up. But when I see it taken to the excess like Pamela Anderson and ballooning out lips to the point to where you wonder how they can stay on the ground. This is just out and out sick. I used think Meg Ryan was hot, that was until she set her lips to 50 lbs PSI, I saw that and I wanted to puke Anyway maybe it's me but I find so called "imperfections" essential to what makes a person unique. That uniqueness is what set's one apart from everyone else, that to me is extremely sexy. OK I'll get off my soapbox, but I thought this would be a good thread to kick off the new forum.
I honestly don't know a single person who finds balloon lips attractive, well I should say artificial lips. For the likes of Angelina Jolle they're hot, why? Because they are her own.

Don't know about anyone else but his is sick

She's a racist.
Here's Priscilla Presley's before and after

Now for the complete nightmare, this is what $4 Million in Plastic Surgery will get you

Personally I find this woman absolutely beautiful! She's herself, she's real and there is nothing fake about her. What is shown in my previous post is disgusting.
Here is IMO the "Perfect" Woman. Fiercely independent but not selfish, smart, sexy, intelligent and who aged with style, grace and sophistication. She was as beautiful in her 90's as she was in her 20's

those pictures are wow! i mean, poor thing, all there money puts into waste because they are not contented on what they have. thing they did suffer, not just popularity but also destroying there own self.
I agree wholeheartedly. If those who choose outer beauty over beauty of the soul, they are making a huge mistake.
Everytime I watch this woman, I wonder what's the matter with her lips?
Play the video to the right and you'll see what I mean. They can only touch up so much....
No shit, those who inflate their lips to 50 lbs PSI is just gross! Just like the those who implant the Goodyear Blimps in their chest, beyond me how any of this shit can be considered "sexy"
She looks like a scary DV "victim" to me....
Chasing the concept of the perfect beauty is, ultimately, a fool's errand. There is no such thing as perfect beauty. One needs to look inward than seek to perfect the outer.
it just mean a person will always not be contented on what he/she have, even if she gets what she have, still asking for more now look at the result!.
I agree with the reaction against the inflated lips and breasts, pretty much. It seems like Gwen Stafani has relatively small breasts, but I find her very hot and part of that is probably because she's confident enough not to go for bolt-ons.
Some people just don't know how to appreciate natural beauty while some are easily influenced by the media on how a woman should look like, that is why they undergo these different surgical procedures. They are obsessed in achieving the perfect face and the perfect body without realizing that the imperfection in each and everyone of us makes us unique and beautiful.
I'll admit that when I look in the mirror and see my aging reflection I have moments when I think I'd like to get rid of these lines and what I would give to get rid of that "pooch" that sticks around no matter how many damn crunches I do. But then I think about the experiences that gave me my imperfections; memories that are worth far more than any perceived attainment of "perfection."
So my lines and wrinkles will remain, I will be ok with the knowledge that I'll never be a size 4 again, I'll be thankful for a ribcage that will prevent "the girls" from heading too far south and when I look in the mirror I may not see "perfection" but I will see a perfect reflection of the joys and sorrows of my own life's journey.
I am not, however, completely without vanity, my hair isn't going grey until I'm 90!
Natural beauty is something wonderful to behold. I see a lot of the injected, tucked, and stuffed ladies here in Palm Springs - wow it is so obvious and IMO sad.
I have no issue with cosmetic procedures to correct deformities or disfigurement from accidents, but for pure vanity???? As a man I must confess I find breast implants to be visually pleasing but very different to the the touch!
Now don't misunderstand me as I have no problem with a little makeup or dying/tinting hair. But what attracts me to a woman is how she carries herself and observing a functioning brain. But then maybe that is why I remain single too!
Exactly - the women you are attracted to have a brain, so when they meet you, they run the other way...

So that leaves you with not much then right! Well fortunately I leave the ones with braided arm pits and studs in their tongue for you to grovel over!
What these women teach us is the fact that Perfection is the unattainable beauty. And that money doesn't help at all. Peace.

That depends on how well they're done. I've seen hideous scarring and even the unnatural way implants move around on girls' chests (not necessarily when they're naked, you can tell even when theyre just wearing bikinis) that to me are huge turn offs.
I'm not saying I like flat chested chicks, a little boobage is always nice
but given the choice I'd always choose a natural girl over one with implants.
JoeConti you are a man with good taste and an appreciation for natural aesthetic beauty!
Personally I find that when confronted with a false facade I anticipate an empty interior as well.
Hear, hear. Having plastic on the exterior means that there is most likely plastic on the interior as well. I'll take the personality and good heart over a plastic person any day of the week. And, I like little titties, too! Size is over rated. Its how you use them AND yourself that is most attractive to me.
Big tits and little minds suck.
Most women who are facing old age were very much weary of how they look. They will do almost anything to make themselves look young. Well of course that is if you have loads of extra cash in your pocket to spend on cosmetic surgeries.
I find my mother beautiful even with the lines, wrinkles and sagging lines in her body. I admire women who are courageous enough to experience the true beauty of the natural changes their bodies are going through.
I’ve seen one woman in the mall with loads of silicon inside her upper body part and behind part that most men and even women alike can’t stop drooling over and I can’t help myself over hearing them say: “What is wrong with her???” that woman walking with her friend inside that mall was a scene. She really was.
If I’ll have extra cash in my pocket, I would just spend it wisely and help my family, especially now that we’re having an economic breakdown.
True beauty for me lies in the personality of a person and how they act when no one is watching them.
I couldnt agree more with your original post, I know the athiests will have a field day with what im about to say , but so be it. I dont think any man (doictor or not) can recreate gods blessings.(whoever your god may be). Lol, at evryone thet tries and fails. I have alot of body issues. Ive had five kids. But I do what I can to fix them naturally.I think I look good. And If anyone feels otherwise they are free to look away. I hope they catch a glimpse of a man made medical disaster.
Kenny Rogers looks weird now too. I don't get the whole plastic surgery obsession. Well, maybe I'll have a little lipo down, maybe a tummy tuck, a little sculpting... eh, nevermind. Not worth it to me. But I will continue the dye job
My girlfriend, I consider her to be beautiful. She's around my age, has a slight asian look to her features, and also takes good care of her skin.
What else? White hair and red eyes from her albinism. That puts some people off, but I think it looks good on her. She tried dying her hair before, but she hated how it clashed with her skin, and she doesn't want to try getting a tan. She's naturally good looking, and that's how I like my women. Natural. That, and actually being easy to get along with.
