Jackson fans comitting suicide

http://www.spike.com/blog/michael-jackson-fans/83008

The death of Michael Jackson was a great loss for all of us. Whenever you were a fan of him or not. But to take your life over his death? He wouldn't want that, he'd want his fans to live their lives to the end.

Sad that people can be pushed over the edge so easily.

Natural Selection.

It's just stupid and silly. Hopefully, no laws or legislation will come out of this. THAT is my only fear.

I thought this was just a rumor at first. I can't believe people are actually taking their own lives because Mj died. Yes, his music was brilliant and he touched millions of people, but there is absolutely no one that I would commit suicide over. I think these people had severe mental issues to begin with.

Idiots - although I am distressed at not being able to see the final sculptured face of MJ. What would he have carved off next - now that question will haunt me for the rest of my life!

I am so distraught over this I am considering self-mutilation and having my skin stained brown with bark from the Ebony tree!

There are some very callous remarks here, and tha'ts what upsets me more than anything.  The world needs so much more compassion, understanding, and tolerance, not quib, unfeeling, insensitive remarks.  No one should kill themselves because another person dies, especially someone they don't know personally, but it's been happening for years, probably from the beginning of time. What is sad is that they obviously don't have any personal connections to keep them grounded in this world -- probably too many of those callous folks around them.

The absurdity of it all lends itself to much humor.
I read yesterday that MJ's nose is now missing! Apparently he had so much plastic surgery that all that was left was a small hole - damn self-mutilation to the extreme! As sad as it is, it still provides fodder for black (no racial slur intended) humor!
