But now, the mafia princess turned New York Post columnist is behind by $650,000 on her mortgage and will likely lose her home. Part of the problem for some celebrities is that they were allowed to borrow huge amounts of money because of their sizable paychecks during boom times. But Hollywood is fickle, and now some VIPs are struggling with smaller income streams and mortgages worth more than what their homes are currently worth.

You're a celebrity, just sell autographed nude pics on eBay and make a fortune. Problem solved.
Or better yet, sell your $4,200,000 estate and buy a $3,200,000 estate. They have tons of cash in property and they're not willing to hock some of it to pay a debt, I mean, what the Hell?

There are a lot of celebrities facing the same kind of problems middle America does. They often live above their means, just like the rest of us. Look at Michael Jackson. He's been facing all kinds of financial issues right up to his death. Steven Baldwin just lost his house. It really doesn't matter what strata we're on, we all tend to face the same problems.

In this times we are all the same. If you have no eye on the incoming and the outgoing money, you get in trouble.
So keep your eyes open not to spend to much money.

Just goes to show that there is truth to the saying that there is no level of money that you cannot outspend. That being said, some of these people need to get a clue and learn how to put stuff aside. No one is going to feel sorry for these rich and famous people going belly up in this economic environment. Get a job like the rest of us...or at least try to.
